Strideflare Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Strideflare, including its portal client, developer-operated online services, optional accounts where supported, and features enabled in the relevant distribution and client build (together, the “Service”). Please read them together with the Privacy Policy.
1. Operator and acceptance
The Service is offered by Kim Dae Yeong, an individual based in the Republic of Korea, operating under the name Strideflare (“Strideflare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: strideflare@gmail.com.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you access Strideflare through a distribution platform, that platform's terms also apply to your relationship with the platform. These Terms govern Strideflare's own Service; the platform's terms govern its website, platform account, advertising, billing, and other systems to the extent applicable.
2. Eligibility and younger players
You must be at least 13 years old or the higher minimum age required to use the Service where you live. If you are old enough to use the Service but have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use it only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to supervise your use. Do not use the Service if applicable law or an active restriction prohibits you from doing so.
A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use the Service should review these Terms with the minor and explain online-safety rules, including not sharing personal contact information in nicknames or chat.
3. Permission to use the Service
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the Service for lawful, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. The Service is licensed, not sold. No ownership in the Service, source code, assets, branding, accounts, or service data transfers to you.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, publicly host, or commercially exploit the Service except where we give written permission or applicable law expressly allows it. This does not restrict rights that cannot legally be waived, including protected rights relating to interoperability, consumer protection, or good-faith security research.
4. Fair play and acceptable use
You must not:
- use bots, automation, modified clients, unauthorized scripts, exploits, or tools to gain an unfair advantage or falsify service activity;
- interfere with servers, matchmaking, other players, security controls, rate limits, authentication, moderation, or platform integrations;
- probe, scan, overload, attack, scrape, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or another person's account or data;
- impersonate another person or use a nickname or message that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, harassing, privacy-invasive, or otherwise seriously harmful;
- share personal contact information, birth dates, credentials, authentication details, financial or payment information, or other sensitive personal information about yourself or another person in public nicknames or chat; solicit personal information from younger players; or use the Service for grooming, scams, or commercial solicitation;
- submit knowingly false reports, evade an active restriction, or help another person violate these Terms; or
- use the Service in violation of applicable law or another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Using ordinary accessibility features and reporting a vulnerability responsibly are permitted. If you discover a security issue, contact us privately and do not exploit it against users or live systems.
5. Enforcement, reports, and appeals
We may reject invalid requests; remove prohibited content; limit chat, matchmaking, room, or account features; suspend or ban access; or take other proportionate action where we reasonably believe it is needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, secure the Service, comply with law, or investigate abuse.
A restriction may apply to a Strideflare account, a connection IP address, or both. A signed-in player ban binds the account and one reliable current connection IP when the server can identify one; if the current IP is unavailable or ambiguous, the restriction falls back to the account alone. A live guest ban or a direct IP ban binds the IP address. A successful team vote-kick prevents the affected account or generated guest identifier from re-entering the same room for up to 30 minutes. For an unauthenticated guest, a room-specific cryptographic value derived from the current connection IP is also used for up to 2 minutes to deter immediate guest-identifier rotation. Because IP addresses can change or be shared, an IP restriction or this brief guest network check may affect another user of the same network. Attempting to evade an active restriction is prohibited.
Urgent security or safety action may be immediate. Where reasonably possible, we will consider context, severity, repetition, available evidence, and the effect on other players. You may appeal a material account restriction through the support contact. Reports, evidence, logs, and inactive sanction records follow the fixed expiry periods in the Privacy Policy; the minimum record needed to enforce an active ban remains while that restriction is in force.
6. Accounts, deletion, and stored service data
Strideflare may permit guest room access where the relevant distribution and client build enable it.
An own-domain account, if offered, is optional. Strideflare does not currently collect an email address or offer password recovery, so you are responsible for keeping your username and password secure.
The CrazyGames distribution does not offer own-domain username-and-password registration or login. Where the CrazyGames account identity flow is enabled, a signed-in player may receive a linked Strideflare account based on CrazyGames' verified, game-specific identifier and current profile name.
The Poki distribution does not offer own-domain username-and-password registration or login. The current Poki build uses guest access and does not request Poki account identity or authentication tokens.
Keep credentials and authentication tokens confidential and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. Do not reuse an important password. We may invalidate a token or temporarily restrict an account when reasonably necessary for security.
You may permanently delete an own-domain account by submitting an authenticated deletion request and confirming the current password. A successful request deletes the Strideflare server account.
You may permanently delete a CrazyGames-linked Strideflare account by submitting a deletion request with fresh CrazyGames verification. A successful request deletes the linked Strideflare server account and identity mapping.
Your Strideflare data and your CrazyGames account are separate. Deleting Strideflare data does not delete your CrazyGames account or other data controlled by CrazyGames. Deleting or changing a CrazyGames account does not necessarily delete separate Strideflare server data. Use each service's own account or privacy controls for the relevant request.
Strideflare data and Poki platform data are separate. The current Poki build does not create a Poki-linked Strideflare account. Clearing Strideflare browser data or asking Strideflare to delete server-side records does not itself delete Poki-controlled account, advertising, analytics, consent, or cloud-gamesave data. Use Poki's own privacy controls for Poki-controlled processing.
If you later access Strideflare while signed in to the same CrazyGames account, the verified platform identity flow may automatically create a new, empty Strideflare account. Previously deleted Strideflare records are not restored.
Your nickname; a randomly generated guest identifier used to stabilize the guest callsign and support room admission, reconnection, reports, and vote-kick enforcement; sensitivity, audio, chat, loadout, key-binding, and mobile-control or custom-HUD settings; controls-help and loadout-coach preferences; legal-notice acknowledgement; and limited portal lifecycle state such as active play counted toward a new-player advertising warm-up may be stored in browser local storage. A Strideflare login token is kept only in the active page's memory and is removed by signing out, refreshing, or closing the page. A room-reconnection token and its room context may be stored in browser session storage with a 12-second server-acceptance window. Clearing site data, using private browsing, blocking storage, or a browser or platform storage failure may prevent restoration of locally stored non-login state. Poki's SDK may separately synchronize browser storage for a player signed in to Poki under Poki's own platform terms and privacy policy.
Current released builds do not write account XP, levels, progression events, daily progression, seasonal TDM or Defuse K/D records, or leaderboard results. If those systems are enabled later, their eligibility rules and related data processing will be disclosed before or when they become active.
7. Nicknames, chat, reports, and other player content
Nickname, chat, and reporting features are available only where the relevant distribution and current client enable them. Free-form chat may be disabled or unavailable in some distributions.
You retain any rights you already have in text or other content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, display, filter, reproduce, and review that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and legally protect the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited copies lawfully retained for safety, moderation, security, or legal claims.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it complies with these Terms. Do not submit confidential information or content you expect to remain private through a public nickname or chat channel. This includes contact details, birth dates, credentials or authentication details, financial or payment information, and other sensitive personal information about yourself or another person. If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback, we may use them without payment or obligation, but you keep ownership of your original material.
8. Intellectual property and notices
The Service and its original content are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses and notices, which are listed in the Third-Party Notices. “Strideflare” and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership.
To report an alleged infringement, contact us with identification of the work, the material at issue and its location, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation of your claim. We may request additional information required by applicable law.
9. Platforms, advertising, and external services
A distribution platform may show advertising, provide consent controls, maintain platform accounts, preserve or synchronize site storage, or process platform analytics under its own terms and privacy policy.
CrazyGames monetization is disabled during Basic Launch. If Strideflare later enters Full Launch, CrazyGames may show platform advertising only through the enabled CrazyGames SDK flow. Strideflare does not currently write player progression through the CrazyGames Data module.
Poki testing may use simulated test advertisements, and a released Poki version may show Poki advertising only through the enabled Poki SDK flow. Strideflare does not currently request Poki account identity.
We do not control the continued availability or all practices of third-party platforms. Integrations do not imply endorsement of every third-party statement, product, or practice.
Strideflare does not currently sell virtual currency or paid digital items through its own systems. If purchases are introduced, applicable prices, payment providers, refund rights, and any additional terms will be disclosed before purchase.
10. Updates, availability, and service changes
Online services and game builds change. We may patch, rebalance, add, remove, or discontinue features; correct test, fraudulent, or corrupted data; perform maintenance; or end all or part of the Service. Where practical and legally required, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect users. We do not promise that every feature, server, account, session, or platform integration will always be available or error-free.
We may offer test, preview, or beta features that are incomplete and may change or be withdrawn. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
11. Health and safety
Take reasonable breaks and stop playing if you experience dizziness, nausea, eye strain, pain, or disorientation. A small number of people may experience seizures or other symptoms from flashing lights or visual patterns. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if symptoms occur. Do not play where distraction could create a physical danger.
12. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Nothing removes mandatory consumer guarantees, warranties, remedies, or rights available where you live.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” and implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed are disclaimed. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, your violation of these Terms, your unsafe disclosure of credentials or personal information, or a third-party platform we do not control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the Service. These exclusions do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or feature changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek renewed agreement. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued mandatory rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and disputes concerning the Strideflare Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Mandatory consumer protections are preserved. If you are a consumer outside the Republic of Korea, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country where you habitually reside, and it does not remove any right to bring or defend proceedings in a court or forum available to you under mandatory applicable law.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and we should try in good faith to resolve the issue through the support contact. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, consumer-protection body, small-claims procedure, or other process available under applicable law. Subject to the mandatory rights above, disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in the Republic of Korea.
15. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest will remain effective. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a genuine reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable notice and consumer rights. These Terms and documents expressly incorporated into them form the agreement about the Service but do not exclude statements or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
